Ken Banks, President of the company was previously employed with a local foundation repair company for 6 ½ years where he learned the foundation repair business. It was his belief based upon personal experience, as well as actual professional engineer statements, that the majority (85%) of wet basements could be made dry or maintained dry by improving and managing the water runoff (drainage) around the structure. It has been the practice of "traditional" foundation repair companies to work on the interior of a basement allowing the water to continue to come in, capture it in a drain tile system and pump it back out where it often time just re-circulates. This method deals with a symptom of a problem that usually exists outside of the home and relies on electricity and mechanical systems.
